Well, Brigand is a etherean or a sub-race of the etherean or from a ethnic etherean group because there's no way he is a human with that look and appearance.

@dunklen: He's not human, but he's not an Etherean, either. Dirsta'll have the details in the next page!

@Seven Rain: By the way, I wanted to ask if it's not too much trouble, Is "Etherean" a collective term for all the non-human races or just one specific race?

@dunklen: Oh don't worry, I love answering questions about the EthereaVerse! Ask to your heart's content!

Ethereans are a singular race/species. They all have black hair and cat ears, and they're found all over the universe.

Brigan, Fathom, and the Draconian are all of different races/species.
Draconians themselves are another set of beings found across the universe separate from Humans and Ethereans.
Brigan is part of something much rarer and Fathom's a bit of a secret.

The rest of Chrona is made up of humans, including the dark-skinned characters with pointed ears like Ara and the unnamed knight late in the Passion chapter.

If you don't mind some heavier reading there's a lot more info on Ethereans and stuff in the Lore pages: http://wings-over-ethereal.smackjeeves.com/archive/#ch_104

And more info on Draconians and general stuff about the universe this takes place in over in the EthereaVerse Glossary: http://ethereaverse.smackjeeves.com/glossary/

Some of the info MIGHT be a bit dated, but I doubt it. Hopefully those pages will all tell you anything you need to know about Ethereans.

@Seven Rain: I see, Thanks a lot! I'll definitely check out those sections.

Does this count for the "Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass" trope? (Not that Brigan is a moron)

@The_Hankerchief: I dunno, I'd say he's naive enough to qualify. He's got that impressively-arrogant air of dumbness, eh?
