Holy hell, 217 pages. Hard to imagine how long Passion would've been if I hadn't cut it into two chapters.

Anyway that's the end of Passion! Things will be quiet while I prep for the next chapter, but you've all dealt with worse waits for sure!

So I know everyone's been quiet lately, but does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the chapter that they'd care to share?
If not that's fine, but you guys know I love hearing from ya! (Even if the comment screen gets all funky due to the music player... Don't know how many people that's turned off from commenting, but hopefully it's not as annoying as I worry it is.)

I've been reading these pages, it's just I can't think of much to say. It's been a while since I read the previous chapters so I'm not following it very well (not to mention I forget what the main plot is), but I get the idea of what's going on in this chapter. It's pretty good

@Bowserknight: Ha, hope it's not my fault that you forgot anything major, but to be fair the "main" story hasn't revealed itself yet.

So far it basically boils down to "Ixis wants to love-a-dove-dove with Reina, but Ixal wants to fight Ixis because reasons, and Sirius something something shady something something plotting."

Foreshadowing and mystique is a big part of the comic right now, for better or worse. There's a lot of questions that are meant to be unanswered until later. For now I just hope people enjoy the ride, haha.

@Seven Rain: Oh okay! got it.
For whatever reason I felt like it was a lot more complicated.
The reason I forgot stuff was because there were a few months where I just didn't read webcomics for some reason, and started reading again in the middle of this part.
Well, all caught up now I guess!

@Bowserknight: Yeah, for now things are deceptively simple with a lot behind the scenes. Some stuff will get explained in the next chapter, so there's that, a LOT of crazy shit and new questions will pop up though, haha.

That ain't ominous at all. He was just strooling around the neighborhood and saw the boy and wanted to wish him a good night. The red aura was just coincidence.

@ApaFox: He just glows red when he's hungry. There's more detail on it in the upcoming "Ixal: Journey to Taco Bell" comic.

@Seven Rain: That's the spin-off where everyone's chibi right?

@ApaFox: Oh god I actually forgot all about those, haha.

Eyyyyy, so, I've been catching up with the comic for a week now, and I gotta say, not bad. Not bad at all.
Sure, the pacing's a bit... eh, but it's still a relatively entertaining story, with some decent mystery to the world. Love stories that use the format to reveal the world. Points for pulling off an ensemble cast well even in the earlier pages by the way.
Art's fine at this point, nothing mindblowing for me, but it's cute, expressive, and decently varied (angles could use more variance, but you seem to already be getting there by the end of Passion). Ixis seems to be a fan favorite design, and I can see why! He's just so... damn... PURE!
On a side note: anything that references or takes inspiration from Evangelion even just once gets mad respect from me. Same for the tasteful use of shota (I honestly didn't expect Reina to say what she did on the bed the second time, props).
Overall, hope the week gets better on your end, and I hope to catch up before the next update, this is a cool one! Also sorry if this wall of text came right atta the wazoo. xD

@HM2000: You have no idea what a pick-me-up it is hearing so much from a new reader! I love comments and discussion so don't ever feel the need to apologize for walls of text, haha.

I'm really glad to hear all of that. You're spot-on with some of the issues, (especially pacing,) and I hope you have a lot of fun reading the next chapters! (I personally find Wings and Passion to be the weakest parts of WOE, especially Passion. If you can find enjoyment in them, I'm sure you'll love what's to come!)

As for Eva, that's a funny one for me. I didn't watch it back in the day like most people but I heard about it for years. I don't do well with bleak/depressing stories so I avoided it for a long time, but finally watched it out of love for the mythos/mecha/animation/design.
I had mixed feelings about it all but lots of key ideas and scenes struck a chord with me and had a surprising amount of influence on the comic. We'll see if you notice anymore hints of it's influence going forward, I'm sure there's plenty here and there!
