Sorry for the delay on this one, I wanted to try out a drawing tablet to see if that would feel more like good old pen and paper drawing but after trying one out it turned out not to be my thing.

In short it felt more like a pen-shaped mouse than a pen and paper, so I decided I'd rather keep using my mouse than spend 70 bucks on it, took it back and then got back to work, mouse-style.

Another reason this, (and likely many pages for a while,) took long is because of these damn city backgrounds. As you know I struggle with detailed backgrounds and on top of that I've developed this nasty habit of spending too much time on one that ends up so big only a portion of it makes it in the panel, but that's enough bitching and moaning, I've got some UFC to watch soon.

And that damn gate still won't turn out the way I want it to. I wish I could get a more "water"-y effect on it. Damn you, Corel Photo Paint.

Quick Fix: It only recently dawned on me that Ixis had the same exchange with Reina about leaving the castle, and but a few feet away from Dirsta to boot, so the dialogue has been changed for this page.

I know, huh. Backgrounds are a pain in the buttox. I guess that's why they have professionals who specialize in it.

I think my problem is that I don't put enough detail.

Okay, last one, I swear:

Wow, Oblivion must be nice this time of year! Guess the daedra really know how to clean up for guests.

@ApaFox: But with all that snow you should be making Skyrim jokes now. YOU'RE SLIPPIN' APA.

@Seven Rain: Bah, I know. I just don't know enough about Skyrim. I really need to do my homework.

@ApaFox: Snow + Dragons + DOVAHKIIN = You're a pro in Skyrim knowledge. ;D

If I may humbly suggest, perhaps a bit of blur around the teleportee may give out your desired effect?

Anyway, Rampage better fuck some shit up. You don't get to replace Mr. T on the A-Team unless you're a real stone cold badass, period. I pity the fool! (Jones)

@The_Hankerchief: Unfortunately Rampage lost, but at least Jones isn't some chump. Any other fighter would've been obliterated by Quinton tonight based on how well he was doing, but Jones is just too crazy.

I must admit although it bums me out that Rampage lost at least Jones ain't too bad of a guy. It wasn't as bad as seeing him lose to Rashad.

And yeah, I might try that later. I was so focused on getting a ripple effect and then trying to find the next best thing that I didn't think to use any blur on the character(s) going through it... Thanks, haha.

Hmm, tried it but I can't seem to make a big enough difference to warrant replacing the pages. Maybe I can keep trying at it and figure something out by the time it's used again, but if not; Oh well. The gate doesn't necessarily play a massive role in the comic anyway, haha.

@Seven Rain: Ah, he lost?! Dammit! (I was out of town and didn't get to watch. Fuck!)

Jones is pretty decent though. I'm trying to remember the name of that one guy, I think it was Josh Koscheck? Either way, the guy was a tool, whoever it was.

Oh well. I necessarily shouldn't be giving art tips, my old program sucked and now I'm trying to figure out GIMP. haha

@The_Hankerchief: We're two of a kind, Hank. Koscheck is indeed a total tool, which is a shame because he's a great fighter. If he'd just drop the whole "be the guy people love to hate" act I wouldn't mind seeing him win, haha.

But yeah, overall 135 was pretty disappointing. Everyone I was rooting for lost. :/
Everyone notable that I was aware of before hand, that is. I had never heard of Tim Boetsch before but after seeing his win on 135 I can safely call myself a fan, haha.

And let me just say I am beyond happy that there's finally another UFC fan on SJ, haha. Sometimes I feel like me and my friends Alan and Dre are the only nerds that like MMA.

@Seven Rain: Yeah, I may not be in town to watch it often, but I do love a good round of UFC over hot wings. (Since we don't get it at my house, I usually go to a restaurant, usually the local Hooter's, to watch the fights).

It's good shit. Because who don't like to watch two grown men beat the hell out of each other? XD

@The_Hankerchief: Funny story; My Grandpa was over here while me and a buddy were watching it and said he prefers boxing and called it "fag fighting" due to the wrestling, haha.
My Grandpa is awesome.
I just found that hilarious, then again it's not as funny if you don't know him. The unexpectedness of him saying that is part of what killed me.
